About the Role
We are looking for a talented 3D Environment Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a passion for stylized art and possesses the ability to translate the magic of the Disney Golden and Renaissance eras into immersive 3D environments. You will focus on hard-surface modeling and hand-painted texturing to bring our game world to life.
Key Responsibilities

Stylized Asset Creation: Model and texture high-quality 3D environment assets (props, structures, and architectural elements) with a focus on hard surface modeling.

Hand-Painted Texturing: Create stunning hand-painted textures that emulate the traditional 2D animation aesthetic (painterly style, baked lighting, and vibrant color palettes).

Engine Integration: Implement assets into Unity 3D, ensuring proper organization, scaling, and configuration of colliders and basic prefabs.

Optimization: Ensure all assets are optimized for game performance (topology and UV mapping) without sacrificing visual quality.

Collaboration: Work remotely with the design and art teams to ensure visual consistency across the project.
Requirements

Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in hand-painted texturing and stylized 3D modeling.

3D Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max) and texturing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Substance Painter, or 3D Coat).

Unity Fundamentals: Practical knowledge of the Unity pipeline, including importing assets, setting up materials, and applying physics colliders.

Artistic Eye: Strong understanding of color theory, light, shade, and composition relevant to the “Golden Age” animation style.
Communication & Work Arrangement

English Proficiency: Intermediate to Communicative level is required. You do not need to be native or fluent, but you must be able to understand tasks, provide updates, and communicate with the team via text and voice calls.

Remote Work: This is a 100% remote position. You must have a reliable internet connection and a workstation capable of handling 3D production tasks.
