About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior 3D Art Director to lead our creative department. In this pivotal role, you will define the visual standard of our projects, guiding a talented team of artists to bridge the gap between concept and execution. You must be a versatile leader with deep technical knowledge of game engines and a keen eye for artistic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Artistic Leadership: Define, uphold, and drive the artistic vision for our projects, ensuring a cohesive style from concept to final render.

• Team Management: Mentor and supervise the 3D art team, providing constructive feedback (paintovers, reviews) to maintain high quality bars.

• Pipeline Oversight: Oversee the technical integration of art assets across Unity and Unreal Engine, solving high-level technical challenges and optimizing workflows.

• Cross-Discipline Collaboration: Work closely with Game Designers and Engineers to ensure art assets support gameplay mechanics and performance budgets.

• Visual Development: Translate abstract ideas into concrete visual goals and style guides.

Requirements

• Senior Experience: 7+ years of experience in the game industry, with at least 2+ years in a Lead or Art Director role.

• Dual Engine Knowledge: Strong understanding of art pipelines in both Unity and Unreal Engine, including lighting, shaders, and asset implementation.

• 3D Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering workflows.

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage remote teams, adhere to production schedules, and communicate complex artistic direction clearly in English.

Bonus Skills 

• 2D Foundation: Strong traditional or digital art skills (drawing, painting, or concepting) are a major plus. The ability to create quick sketches or perform 2D paintovers to guide 3D artists is highly valued.
